1. About us
This website, stumpssports.com, is operated by Stumps Sports Ltd ("Stumps Sports", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15808281, VAT number GB495050679. 2. These terms
These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Our products
We try to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours on screen may vary slightly from the actual product. Dimensions and specifications are given in good faith and may vary slightly. Training equipment should be used as described and with suitable supervision for juniors. Electrical items such as the Stumps Cannon must be used in line with their instructions and must not be used in wet or damp conditions.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. If you shop in another currency, the converted price is shown at checkout. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. We take payment when you place your order. If we have made an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch so you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5. Orders
After you place an order, we will email you to acknowledge it. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order and confirm dispatch. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we suspect fraud; if we do, we will refund any payment in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery areas, charges, dispatch times and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated times are not guaranteed, but we will contact you if there is a significant delay. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your right to cancel and return items, and your rights if goods are faulty, are set out in our Refund Policy. They include your statutory 14-day cancellation right (which we extend to 28 days) and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Using our website
You may use the site for lawful purposes only. Do not misuse it, for example by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code or scraping content in bulk. Content on the site, including text, images, videos and the Kangaroo Stumps™, Kangaroo Bails™, Kangaroo Flat Base™ and Kangaroo Half Stump™ names, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
9. Reviews and comments
If you submit reviews, comments or other content, it must be honest, lawful and not offensive. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
10. Your personal information
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer. We supply products for domestic, club and private use; if you buy for business resale, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will let you know and you may cancel for a refund.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
